Asia’s growing markets.
The Office for Space Technology & Industry, Singapore (OSTIn) is
working with the space sector in Singapore and is facilitating the research
and development of new space technologies that tackle global and regional
issues aligned with Singapore’s interests. These include climate change
mitigation and sustainable development, with R&D programmes focused
on driving advancements in space tech enablers for critical sectors such
as aviation and maritime.

OSTIn Hosts CNES during their return visit to Singapore
During the week of GSTC 2024, OSTIn welcomed back Centre National d'Études Spatiales to sunny Singapore for our Annual Meeting, on the sidelines of the Global Space and Technology Convention.
The Annual Meeting is anchored by the bilateral CNES-OSTIn Memorandum of Understanding, which was renewed in 2022.
At the meeting, OSTIn Executive Director Jonathan Hung and CNES Chief Operating Officer Lionel Suchet hosted an industry exchange between Singapore and French companies, and exchanged updates on our joint research projects.
OSTIn also supported CNES’ visit to Nanyang Technological University Singapore, where the delegation met with representatives from NTU Satellite Research Centre (SaRC), Temasek Laboratories@NTU and Earth Observatory of Singapore Remote Sensing Lab.
CNES and NTU renewed their research agreements with each other and will continue to explore future collaboration.
We thank CNES for visiting us, and look forward to continued cooperation in Space.
